The Truth
In 1985 Robert Edward "Ted" Turner, an American businessman, a media mogul, the founder of CNN, the first 24-hour cable news channel and the WTBS, the over-the-air broadcast television station that carried its signal to cable and satellite subscribers throughout United States and Canada, made a bid to buy CBS. Despite the fact that CNN had never taken a position contrary to Jewish interests and that a number of key positions at CNN were filled with Jewish executives, Turner's bid sent ripples of panic around the small world of media executives. CBS's William Paley (Palinsky), who had officially stepped down in 1977 hiring Thomas H. Wyman to become president in 1980 and second chairman in 1983, used his powerful chairmanship to oppose Wyman's decisions relating to the takeover bid. Turner was branded as "uncontrollable," "a loose cannon" that might turn against Jews in future. Daniel Schorr, who had worked for Turner in the past, accused his former boss of a "personal dislike for the Jews." As for Paley, he allied himself with the Jewish billionaire Laurence Tisch, who held the largest block of CBS shares apart from assets that included an offshore drilling company, hotel chains, an insurance firm and a tobacco company. Tisch launched a "friendly" takeover that cost him 800 million for 24.9% control but secured him a nine-year-tenure as chief executive officer of CBS. The takeover also achieved the removal of Wyman, blocked the potential ownership of Turner, considered hostile by Paley, and most importantly, removed the threat of non-Jewish ownership of the company. While Paley held a figurehead chair until his death in 1990, Tisch's nine-year tenure form 1986 to 1995 was marked by drastic cost-cutting, damaged morale and mismanagement. Many prolific journalists at CBS, including Walter Cronkite, accused Tisch of degrading journalistic standards in pursuit of profits. CBS is one of the three major television networks. The other two, ABC and NBC were also controlled by Jews since their inception -- ABC was run by Leonard Goldenson and NBC by David Sarnoff and then his son Robert. Apart from their top executives, these networks were stuffed with Jews from top to bottom, and their Jewish makeup did not change when these companies were acquired by larger corporations.
After television news, newspapers are the next most influential source of information. Sixty million newspapers are sold and read daily in the United States alone. The huge volume might seem to provide enough competition and independence to safeguard the news. Unfortunately this is not the case. Out of 1500 publications only 25% is independently owned. The rest is controlled by large multi-newspaper chains that possess the means to hire reporters to do the national and international news coverage. The media empire of Samuel and Donald Newhouse is a good example. Between them the Newhouse brothers own 26 daily newspapers, the Random House, with all its subsidiaries, Newhouse Broadcasting with 12 television stations and 87 cable-TV systems, the Sunday supplement Parade, with a circulation of more than 22 million copies per week and more than two dozen major magazines. The three most important newspapers, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post -- all three in Jewish hands -- set the trend and the guidelines for most others. These newspapers decide what is newsworthy and what isn't, what should get news coverage and what shouldn't, whose loss of life is worth reporting and whose isn't, whose grievances are valid and whose aren't. They do the reporting and most others copy the news. The monopolization of the media by a handful of Jewish proprietors demonstrates the lack of real competition and the absence of impartial, unbiased, evenhanded, objective reporting. It is difficult to imagine that the overwhelming control over the media companies happened by accident -- a deliberate, calculated, premeditated effort was necessary from the start. With a voracious appetite for controlling public opinion, non-Jewish influence was eliminated, first through cutting the advertising revenues from competing Gentile media that didn't follow the strict guidelines of "Jewish likes and dislikes," then through removing competition by blocking the takeover of any major network. The result is a total control over the dissemination of news and the use of the media for promoting Jewish policies.
Ironically, the confirmation of these facts comes from none other than an Israeli spokeswoman Tzipora Menache, whose confession-like statement illustrates the level of control exercised in the name of promoting Jewish policies: "You know very well, and the stupid Americans know equally well, that we control their government, irrespective of who sits in the White House. You see, I know it and you know it that no American president can be in a position to challenge us eve if we do the unthinkable. What can they (Americans) do to us? We control congress, we control the media, we control show biz, and we control everything in America. In America you can criticize God, but you can't criticize Israel ..." The arrogance of the statement highlights the necessity of creating independent alternatives to the Jewish-run official media. The present blog aspires to provide such an alternative. Each story is put in a context complete with a time continuum that highlights appropriate historical background, the antecedents of the occurrence, its present impact as well as its implications for future events. With thorough research, accurate reporting and analysis the posts intend to take a multi-level, multi-dimensional approach that is deliberately lacking in the official media. An essential element of a well-functioning democracy is the free press, and creating an alternative to the existing mind-control is the first step in this direction.
